To Whom it May Concern,
This is an effort to Cancel, in whole, expecting a FULL REFUND of monies spent thus far, for the intended purchase of a Timeshare (or Travel Club) Purchase
Our Legal Standing for Cancellation of this Purchase, in the State of ______, is/are, as follows:
In Brief; Those individuals identified as members of your sales staff hereinafter, blatantly lied to us on several occasions during the Sales Presentation, simultaneously violating state laws, in a hurried effort, to persuade us, to purchase a Timeshare (or Travel Club Membership) on the _______ day of ________, 202(2).
Examples of those misrepresentations follow:
Overall the Podium Presenter, _________ made the timeshare sound like a great investment. “Our Sales Agent ________, told us to expect the value of our purchase today to increase in time because “they aren’t building any more land on the Las Vegas Strip.”
The Podium Presenter _________, stated that the points rolled over each year and there were no blackout dates. The Owner’s Welcome Package said otherwise.
The Sales Agent ________ said; when we passed away, the contract would automatically go to our children and they could use it at no cost to them. That statement is inconsistent with the Owners Kit the Sales Agent __________, assured us the pre-printed paperwork for that purpose would be included in that mailing. We found that to be untrue.
The Podium Presenter __________, offered the First Ones in OUR presentation room FREE Accommodations and Round Trip Airfare, for two, to Honolulu, Hawaii, if WE handed our Driver's License and Credit Card to our Sales Agent BEFORE we left the Podium Room. WE actually DID hand over the same to our Sales Agent BEFORE we left the room, only to find out too much later, the FREE TRIP to Hawaii is going to cost us NOT LESS THAN $375 in Taxes and FEES. Nor, did the Podium Presenter indicate the Airfare MUST originate in just a few Airports on the West Coast. That little tidbit became very important AFTER we figured out that we would have to fly back to Vegas first and then HOPE that we could connect the dots from there to Hawaii. Mid week. Red Eye flights to and from. THIS particular FREE TRIP was the primary factor in our decision to BUY Today! VERY, very misleading from Podium to Reality.
The Finance Manager _________, said at the negotiating table; If we were not 100% satisfied with the timeshare purchase today, we could sell it at an equal or larger value than what we paid later. All this sold us on owning a timeshare. The combination of ALL of these events and oral assurances, along with the Hype and use of a Bell to clang when someone else bought into the FREE TRIP to Hawaii were employed to Bait us into our Purchase.
